By Air, Land, and Sea!

Watch out, Seattle! Here were come!

We started off with a day full of travel. Andrew pointed out to us last night that we traveled by air, land, and sea all in one day!

By Air
Six hours of flying plus a one and a half hour layover in Milwaukee. Highlight of the trip was listening to a couple of hardcore football fans discuss the super bowl like they owned the teams. HILARIOUS! Eventually it ended with the 49ers fan insulting the Green Bay Packers. Not a good idea in an airport full of Cheese heads, lol.
Landing in Milwaukee
Beautiful mosaic in the airport floor.
Should things this gorgeous be in a floor? At the airport?
We had the whole row to ourselves!
Happy to be together!
We should do this more often. ;)
Loved the mountain range in the distance.

Landing in Seattle. Just as green as our Maryland home,
but rugged and wild feeling.
By Land
Picked up a Fiat 500, a subway sandwich, and hit the road! Grateful for Andrew's directions and Google maps, or we would still be winding our way through the pinball machine of the 5 and the 99. We had to zip back and forth across traffic as all the exits we needed seemed to alternate between the right and left sides of the freeway. Good times!

[Insert picture of clown car here.]

By Sea
Loved our ferry ride! About 45 minutes, I believe. We were the last car allowed onto the ferry and we found out later just how lucky we were! If we'd missed this one, we would have had to wait another 1.5 hours for the next one! We had no idea, but were happy in our ignorance.

Had to be outside so I didn't get sick, but the view was beautiful! I could get used to riding that every day. :)

Sitting in the car ON the ferry. So cool!
From inside the passenger observation deck.
So glad we found the outside! What a view!
Happy Debbie :)
Love my sweetie.
We were up by 3:45 am EST time and arrived at our destination by 2:30 pm PST. I think we made it to bed by 10 pm, just 3 hours shy of a full 24-hour day. But what a day! Loved our introduction to Washington and looking forward to everything else the state has to offer.
